CPSC, AA Importer Inc. Announce Recall of Push and Electronic Toys
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), AA Importer Inc., of Los Angeles, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 5,200 Push Along Frog, Animal Organ, and Rock & Roll Kids Guitar Toys. The toys can easily break apart, exposing small parts. This poses a choking hazard to young children.

CPSC, Crosman Corporation Announce Recall of Air Pistols
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Umarex, of Arnsburg, Germany is voluntarily recalling about 24,000 Walther CP Sport, CP99, and Nighthawk CO2 Air Pistols. The air pistols’ safety might move from the engaged or "safe" position to the disengaged or "fire" position when the trigger is pulled once or more and then released. This poses a risk of serious injury if the air pistol is loaded and unintentionally fired.

CPSC, Robertshaw Controls Company Announce Recall of Certain Models of 7000 Series Gas Control Valves
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Robertshaw Controls Company of Long Beach, Calif. is voluntarily recalling about 425,000 gas control valves. They may pose a fire hazard. If the pilot light goes out, the gas valve could stick in an open position, permitting gas to continue to flow. This can result in a gas explosion and fire, which could result in severe personal injury or property damage.

CPSC, GE Security Inc. Announce Retrofit/Recall of Smoke Detector Systems
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), GE Security Inc., of Austin, Texas. is voluntarily recalling approximately 246,800 smoke detectors. The smoke alarms can fail to activate during a fire or emergency, if installed in combination with certain control panels.

CPSC, Raymond Geddes Co. Announce Recall of Children’s Necklaces
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Raymond Geddes Co. Inc., of Baltimore, Md. is voluntarily recalling about 155,000 metallic necklaces. The necklaces contain high levels of lead. CPSC regulations ban children's products from containing high levels of lead due to the risk of lead poisoning resulting from contact with these products. The necklaces also contain a sharp point, posing a laceration hazard to young children.

CPSC, Swing-N-Slide® Corp. Announce Recall of Extra-Duty and Heavy-Duty Swing Seats
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Swing-N-Slide® Corp., of Janesville, Wis. is voluntarily recalling 72,000 extra-duty and heavy-duty swing seats. A manufacturing defect can cause the metal grommet securing the seat to break. If this happens, the user can fall to the ground.

CPSC, American Suzuki Motor Corporation Announce Recall of 2005 DR-Z110K5 Off-Road Motorcycles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), American Suzuki Motor Corporation is voluntarily recalling about 1,500 Suzuki 2005 model year DR-Z110K5 off-road motorcycles. The rear shock absorber may have been assembled with an incorrect o-ring, allowing fluid to leak from the shock absorber. Fluid loss from the shock absorber can compromise the shock's damping characteristics, which can render the motorcycle unstable creating a potential for injury or death.

CPSC, Polaris Industries Announce Recall of 900 Fusion, 900 RMK Snowmobiles
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Polaris Industries, Inc., of Medina, Minn. is voluntarily recalling about 2,580 Polaris “900 Fusion” and “900 RMK 151” snowmobiles. The fuel connections between the fuel line and the fuel pump and fuel filter can leak. Failure of the fuel connection can result in leaking fuel and a possible fire, which can result in severe injury or death. In addition, the drive shaft may have been incorrectly heat treated resulting in brittle drive shafts that could fail at lower loads than the shafts were originally designed to meet. Failure of the drive shaft can result in a loss of braking of the snowmobile and severe injury or death.

Due to the location of the fuel line on the Lazer Z EFI riding mowers a hole can develop resulting in a fuel leak that could present a fire hazard.

CPSC, Robert Bosch Tool Corp. Announce Recall of Skil® Table Saws
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, of Mount Prospect, Ill. is voluntarily recalling 120,000 Skil® table saws (model 3400). The blade drive mechanism may loosen or the motor can separate from the tool. Loosening of the blade drive mechanism can result in kickback of the item being sawed, resulting in possible laceration. Motor unit separation can cause the coasting saw blade to damage the saw wiring resulting in possible electric shock, or the separated motor could strike the user and cause injury.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), LG Sourcing, Inc. of North Wilkesboro, N.C.; Lowe’s Home Centers, Inc. of North Wilkesboro, N.C.; and Lowe’s HIW, Inc. of Washington, D.C. are voluntarily recalling 196,788 GardenPlus industrial garden carts. Over-inflation of the tires can break the metal tire rim, causing users and bystanders to be struck with pieces of metal.
