In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), KMC USA Inc., of FranklinPark, Ill., is recalling more than 190,000 cans of PartyTime "Happy String." The product is hazardous if sprayednear an open flame due to the flammability of thepropellant. Because it is a flammable product intended foruse by children, it is a banned hazardous substance. Use ofthe spray string around flame sources, such as candles,could result in serious burns.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Regal + Lager Inc., of Marietta, Ga, is recalling about 240,000 "Baby Bjorn" fabric infant carriers for repair. Small infants can slip through the leg openings and fall. Infants that are under 2 months of age are at greatest risk.

In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), Limited Too Inc., ofColumbus, Ohio, is voluntarily recalling approximately17,600 girls' fleece robes. The robes fail to meet federalflammability standards for children's-sized sleepwear. Thestandards require sleepwear, including robes, to be flameresistant, and if the garment ignites, the flame mustself-extinguish. Failure to meet the flammability standardspresents a risk of serious burn injuries to children.

In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), Elegant Headwear Co., ofElizabeth, N.J., is notifying consumers that 150,000 infantand toddler hats need to be repaired. The hats have aone-piece chin strap. These one-piece chin straps can leadto strangulation if they get caught on playground equipment,riding toys or other catch points.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the Air Comfort Products Division of Emerson Electric Co., of St. Louis, Mo., is recalling about 20,000 ceiling fan installation kits. Over time, the bracket holding the fan can fail, causing the fan to fall or hang by its electric wires. The fans can fall at anytime, possibly causing injuries tobystanders. In addition, exposed wires could pose an electrical shock hazard.

In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), the Toro Co., ofBloomington, Minn., is recalling approximately 78,000Lawn-Boy power mowers. Interference with the mower'smulching fan can cause the mower blade to crack and breakoff. Broken pieces of the blade can be propelled fromunderneath the mower, possibly injuring the operator or abystander.
