Aquarium Lights Recalled by Perfecto Manufacturing
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Perfecto Manufacturing Inc., of Noblesville, Ind., is voluntarily recalling about 23,400 SHOlights aquarium lights. Sharp edges on these lights could cut the insulation on the wiring. If the wires become exposed, consumers could suffer shocks or electrocution. There is also a risk of fire. In addition, some of these lights could overheat and cause the same problems.

Work Lights Recalled by Wilmar and Foremost Tool
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Wilmar Corp., of Kent, Wash., is voluntarily recalling more than 16,000 Fluorescent Work Lights. Foremost Tool Co. Inc., of Kent, Wash., is voluntarily recalling more than 1,300 Fluorescent Work Lights. For both recalls, the work lights present fire, electrocution and shock hazards. The lights have undersized wiring, an inadequate grounding system and faulty plugs.

Work Lights Recalled by Harbor Freight Tools
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Harbor Freight Tools, headquartered in Camarillo, Calif., is voluntarily recalling more than 48,500 work lights, sold as magnetic base lights. These lights present electric shock and fire hazards.

Undercabinet Fluorescent Lights Recalled by GE Home Electric Products
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), GE Home Electric Products Inc., of Cleveland, Ohio, is announcing the recall of about 9,100 undercabinet fluorescent light fixtures. These fixtures were improperly assembled and could present a serious electrical shock hazard to consumers.

Electric Meter Boxes, Trouble Lights & Surge Protectors Recall
The following three product safety recalls were conducted by firms in cooperation with the CPSC. 1) Square D Co., of Palatine, Ill., is recalling about 12,200 CSEDs, which are metal boxes mounted on the outside of homes and contain the electric meter and the main electrical breaker panel. When these CSEDs are installed and electrical power supplied, electrical arcing can occur, posing a risk of shock, electrocution and electric burn. 2) Primerica Enterprise, of Deer Park N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 1,500 trouble lights. The lights have undersized wires, and other internal defects presenting fire, shock and electrocution hazards. 3) Kingsland Tools Inc., of Bell, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 3,900 powerstrip surge protectors. The power strips have cracked, corroded and loose wires, presenting fire, shock and electrocution hazards.

Extension Cord & Trouble Light Recalls Recalled by Big Roc Tools
Big Roc Tools Inc., of Ontario, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 38,170 outdoor extension cords. The cords have undersized wires and reverse polarity receptacles that allow plugs to be in inserted incorrectly, presenting fire, shock and electrocution hazards. They are also voluntarily recalling about 18,600 trouble lights. The lights have undersized, corroded or loose wires and exposed plug blades, presenting fire, shock and electrocution hazards.

In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), NuTone Inc. of Cincinnati,Ohio, is recalling more than 500,000 Ceiling Exhaust Fanand Light units. The light socket in these units could bewired incorrectly, which presents an electrical shock hazardwhen replacing the light bulb.

The unit can break away from the back cover while itis still plugged in, exposing live conductors, which couldseriously or fatally shock consumers.
