In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product SafetyCommission (CPSC), Tonka Corporation, a division of Hasbro Inc. ofPawtucket, R.I., is voluntarily recalling about 1 million Soft Walkin'Wheels (model 90165) toy vehicles, with serial numbers lower than 9528 orno serial number at all. The small wheel hubs can separate from the axle,creating a potential choking hazard.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product SafetyCommission (CPSC), Carter Brothers Manufacturing Company Inc. ofBrundidge, Ala., is recalling for retrofit about 5,000 go-karts withexposed rear axles. Riders can be seriously injured or killed if theirlong hair or clothing becomes entangled in the rotating axle.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product SafetyCommission (CPSC), Playskool of Pawtucket, R.I., is offering freereplacement restraint bars for about 287,000 of its 1-2-3 High Chairs. Therestraint bar can crack or break off, which may allow a child who is notsecured with the high chair's seat belt to fall from the chair and beinjured.
