June 9, 2004- Wisdom Industries Ltd. Revised Safety Inspection Program for Gravitron Mobile Amusement Rides
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Wisdom Industries Ltd., of Sterling, Colo., are announcing a revised safety inspection program for all types of Gravitron amusement rides. The Gravitron amusement ride is a whirling cylinder which uses centrifugal force to hold riders to their seats as the seats rise, giving the illusion that the floor is dropping out.
March 23, 1999- Himalaya Amusement Rides Repair Program
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product SafetyCommission (CPSC), Reverchon Industries, of Samois, France, and Reverchon USA, of Wilsonville, Ore., are offering new inspection and maintenance procedures and secondary restraints for approximately 25 Himalaya amusement rides operating in the U.S.
