June 16, 2004- Linn Inc. Recall of Power Amplifiers for Sound Systems
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Linn Inc., of Jacksonville, Fla. is voluntarily recalling about 2,157 Linn Power Amplifiers and Linn Melodik Bass Extension Loudspeaker Systems. The amplifier’s capacitors can overheat, blow a fuse, and damage the products to which they are connected, presenting a fire hazard.
April 17, 2003- Thomson Recall of Home Entertainment Amplifiers
Thomson Inc., of Indianapolis, Ind., is voluntarily recalling about 50,000 home entertainment amplifiers. The amplifier can overheat due to a lack of ventilation, which can cause melting of the plastic front cover and pose a shock hazard to consumers.
