KENTUCKY FIRM RECALLS MEAT PRODUCTS BECAUSE OF UNDERCOOKING
WASHINGTON, August 29, 2003— Field Packing Company, an Owensboro, Ky., establishment, is voluntarily recalling approximately 7,000 pounds of roast beef and pastrami products because of undercooking, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced today. The products being recalled are:
All of the products subject to recall also bear the establishment code "EST. 7467" inside the USDA mark of inspection. FSIS has received no reports of illnesses associated with consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an illness should contact a physician.
