In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), Kingston TechnologyCorporation of Fountain Valley, Calif., is recalling about27,000 memory modules designed and sold by Kingston for useexclusively with IBM ThinkPad 760 L, LD, C & CD NotebookComputers. The modules may cause a short circuitand result in overheating, smoke, and possibly fire.

In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), Dan-Dee International Inc.of North Largo, Fla., is voluntarily recalling approximately11,600 "Teddy Precious Indian Girl" stuffed bears. Thebear's American Indian-style clothing includes a headbandand waist sash decorated with beads that can detachfrom the sash. Young children can choke on the beads orinhale them into their lungs which could lead to death.
