The candle has a clamp that is used to extinguish the candle. The clamp does not always sever the wax close to the wick and extinguish the candle as intended. In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), American Suzuki Motor Corp., of Brea, California, is voluntarily recalling about 30,000 Suzuki 2004-2005 model year Vinson and 2005 KingQuad ATVs. Water can enter the throttle lever case and freeze, causing the throttle lever to become stuck and fail to automatically return to the idle position when the rider releases the throttle. If the throttle lever does not automatically return to the idle position when the rider releases the throttle, the ATV will not slow down as the rider expects. The rider could lose control of the ATV and an accident resulting in injury or death could occur.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Polaris Industries, Inc., of Medina, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 11,560 Polaris “900 Fusion” “900 RMK” and “900 Switchback” Snowmobiles. The snowmobile wiring harness may be routed in a way that could disconnect the engine stop switch and the throttle safety switch connector. If this connector becomes unplugged, the engine stop and the throttle safety switches will no longer function. This could pose a possible crash hazard. However, the keyed ignition switch will continue to function and will shut down the vehicle when the key is in the OFF position. The thumb warmer and right-hand warmer could also become unplugged under these harness-routing conditions.
