In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Bloomingdale’s By Mail, of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling 300 tree shaped candleholders. The candleholders can tip over, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers.

CPSC, Honeywell Video System Announce Recall of Security Camera
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Honeywell Video Systems of Lewisville, Texas., is voluntarily recalling 689 ADEMCO Rapid/Dome security cameras. The security camera’s plastic mounting assembly can crack, allowing the dome and the camera to fall from the wall or ceiling, possibly injuring someone.

CPSC, Quality Fresh Cigars Announce Recall of Lighters
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Quality Fresh Cigars of Troy, Mich., is voluntarily recalling 313 Nibo Space 5 and Nibo Space 19 Novelty Lighters. These novelty lighters were imported without first being tested to show compliance with CPSC requirements that the lighters be child-resistant. They pose fire and burn hazards to young children.

The recalled units fail to detect carbon monoxide after 1 year of operation due to an internal software error. These CO alarms do not provide an “end of life” signal or other indication of inoperability, even if the test button is depressed.

CPSC, Dorcy International Announce Recall of Fuji Batteries Sold with Dorcy Xenon Flashlights
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Dorcy International Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, is voluntarily recalling about 20,000 Fuji Power and A&T Fuji Power CR123A 3-volt lithium batteries originally provided with the Dorcy Spyder Tactical Xenon Light (Product 41-4200), also sold in packages of two flashlights under the name Dorcy Xenon Tactical Light. The batteries may overheat, leak, or rupture, presenting a potential for fire and injury.
