CPSC, Toys "R" Us Announce Recall of Children's Soap Craft Set
In cooperation with the U.S.Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Toys "R" Us, ofParamus, N.J., is recalling about 4,000 Baskets of Bubbleschildren's craft sets because of a potential fire hazard. Ifconsumers melt pieces of the soap disks that come with theset in a microwave oven for 10 minutes, as instructed, thesoap could ignite in the microwave. The instructions shouldhave read 10 seconds rather than 10 minutes.

In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), Graco Children's ProductsInc. of Elverson, Pa., is recalling about 564,000 Gracocarriers and carrier/swing seats for repair. The handle onthe seats can unlock unexpectedly, causing an infant to falland be injured.

CPSC, B&B Stores Announce Recall of Mesh-Sided Cribs
In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), B&B Stores (also known asVelasco Alonso Inc.) of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, isrecalling about 400 mesh-sided cribs. The mattress padcompresses, a gap can occur between the side panels and thebed frame, and the snaps can separate from the frame,presenting suffocation hazards. In addition, the side railscan bend, presenting an entrapment hazard.

In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), NuTone Inc. of Cincinnati,Ohio, is recalling more than 500,000 Ceiling Exhaust Fanand Light units. The light socket in these units could bewired incorrectly, which presents an electrical shock hazardwhen replacing the light bulb.

In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), Cosco Inc. of Columbus,Ind., is recalling about 6,000 VoyagerTM Car Seat/Strollersfor in-home repair. The VoyagerTM Car Seat/Stroller is a combination product with an infant car seat that snaps into a frame for use as a stroller. When used as the stroller, the car seat could become dislodged and fall to the ground. Infants could be injured from the fall.
