In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), the Kmart Corporation ofTroy, Mich., is recalling 11,756 men's cotton fleece shirts.The shirts violate the federal Flammable Fabrics Act andpose a serious risk of burn injuries.

The U.S. Consumer Product SafetyCommission (CPSC) and Coville Incorporated are announcingthe recall of dangerously flammable garments made froma fleece-type fabric. An estimated 160,000 garments rangingfrom sweatshirts to skirts are involved in the recall.
February 15, 1995- Faux Fur Sweater Recalled by Michael Simon Inc.
In cooperation with the U.S. ConsumerProduct Safety Commission (CPSC), Michael Simon Inc. of NewYork is recalling 907 faux fur sweaters in four styles,including three cardigans and one pullover. Based on testsconducted by CPSC, the faux fur fabric of the sweaters failsto comply with the flammability standard under the FlammableFabrics Act. The garments, considered "dangerouslyflammable," are unsuitable for use for clothing because ofrapid and intense burning.
