In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), H&M, of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about water bottles. The pull-up, black plastic drinking spout can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
September 17, 2003- Bottled Water with Sport Caps Recalled by CCDA Waters LLC
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), CCDA Waters LLC, of Atlanta, Ga., is voluntarily recalling 3.2 million Bottled Water with Push-Pull Sports Cap in 8 oz., 8.5 oz. and .33 liter bottle sizes. When pulled to open, the drinking spout on the sports cap can unexpectedly come off, posing a choking hazard for young children.
July 20, 1999- NIKE Sport Waterbottles Recall
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), NIKE USA Inc., of Beaverton, Ore., is voluntarily recalling about 250,000 NIKE sport waterbottles. The drinking valve on the cap can detach, posing a choking hazard.
July 8, 1999- Spillproof Cup Lids Recalled by Playskool
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Playskool, of Pawtucket, R.I., a division of Hasbro Inc., is voluntarily recalling about 273,000 spillproof cups. The flexible spout on the cup can tear between the slitted opening, causing a small piece of material to come loose, posing a choking hazard to young children.
July 2, 1999- LIL’ SPORT Spill Proof Sport Bottles Recalled by Gerber
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Gerber Products Co., of Summit, N.J., is voluntarily recalling about 300,000 LIL’ SPORT Spill Proof Sport Bottles. A valve inside the cap can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
April 29, 1999- Kid's Sipper Bottles Recalled by Walgreen
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Walgreen Co., of Deerfield, Ill., is recalling about 40,000 Kid's Sipper Bottles. The bottles' caps can be pulled off, creating a potential choking hazard.
October 9, 1997- Sports Blast Drink Bottles Recalled by Chiquita Brands
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer ProductSafety Commission (CPSC), Chiquita Brands of Cincinnati, Ohio, is voluntarily recalling and withdrawing from the market 177,559 cases of sports drink bottles sold under the brand name Sports Blast. These bottles have plastic pull-up tops that can separate from the cap, presenting a potential choking hazard to young children.
